2021 LFA season

The 2021 LFA season will be the sixth season of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA), the top American football league in Mexico. The regular season will begin in March 2021, one month ahead of the planned schedule, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]

Preseason events

Coaching changes

  • Artilleros: After coaching the team for two seasons, Gustavo Torres left the Artilleros.[2]
  • Osos: Michel Esquivel replaced Horacio García as head coach of the team. García previously coached the Osos in their two seasons as an American football franchise; García left to led the Pumas Acatlán varsity football team.[3]
  • Pioneros: Ricardo Cuanalo replaced Rassiel López as head coach of the team. López was promoted to general manager.[4]
