Lynn + Lucy is a 2020 British drama film, directed by Fyzal Boulifa and produced by BBC Films.

It stars Roxanne Scrimshaw as Lynn and Nichola Burley as Lucy, two childhood friends who fall out after domestic tension in Lucy's household.[1]

Lynn and Lucy were schoolfriends, ten years on they live opposite each other. Lynn had a baby at 16 and is god-mother to Lucy’s new baby. They go out clubbing. Lynn gets a job at a hair salon, lots of gossip. Lucy’s baby dies, shaken by her thuggish boyfriend Clark. People blame Lucy. She stays with Lynn but later moves out. Lynn sees Lucy drunk and angry at a pub. Then Lynn’s daughter Lola says she saw Lucy shake the baby. She makes a statement. Lucy is found dead in a car. Lola says she lied. Clark is released and moves his stuff out. Lynn returns to the drudgery of a stay-at-home mum.
