Homi Mullan was an Indian percussionist. He was a noted musician of Hindi films. Mullan worked with great music directors like S. D. Burman, Madan Mohan and Naushad. Mullan also worked with R. D. Burman.[1][2][3]

Musical career

Homi Mullan started his musical career at a very young age. At first, he worked in Kolkata. Music director-singer Pankaj Mullick gave him the chance to play percussion in Bengali films. After that, he worked with Sailesh Dasgupta, Shyamal Mitra, Nachiketa Ghosh and many other musicians. In Bollywood Rahul Dev Burman gave him the break to play percussion in his music. After the death of R.D. Burman, Mullan took retirement from the music industry.[citation needed]
