The video was released on 28 February 2012. it was the biggest hit of the following year and Brown Rang was the YouTube's most trending video of 2012. It won the top spot in the list of YouTube's most watched video of 2012 in India with over 10 million views.[1] According to YouTube in Rewind, the song had beaten the popular Korean Song by PSY "Gangnam Style" that stood at the second place in the list.[2][3]
