Stathis Kalyvas

Stathis Kalyvas, FBA, also known as Stathis N. Kalyvas, is a Greek political scientist who is the Gladstone Professor of Government at All Souls College, Oxford. He previously was the Arnold Wolfers Professor at Yale University (from 2003 to 2017). Prior to Yale, he was at University of Chicago, New York University, and Ohio State University.

He is known for his research on political violence.[1] He wrote The Logic of Violence in Civil War.
