Spencer Knight (born April 19, 2001) is an American collegiate ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing with Boston College in the Hockey East.[1] He was selected by the Florida Panthers, 13th overall, in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.[2]

Playing career

Ranked as the top eligible goaltender in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, Knight was the first goaltender chosen, selected 13th overall by the Florida Panthers.[3] It marked the first time in franchise history that Florida chose a goaltender in the first round.[2]

Knight represented USA's junior national team at the 2021 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, where the team won the gold medal against Canada 2–0, and posted a 1.63 GAA and a .940 SV%.
