Julie Brixie is a Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives.

Before being elected to the state legislature, Brixie earned a master's degree in crop and soil sciences with a specialization in environmental toxicology. After that, she ran a mobile laboratory, conducting investigations and cleanups of contaminated sites in Michigan.[1][2]
