Bath broom (Russian: банный веник, IPA: [ˈbanːɨj ˈvʲenʲɪk]; Finnish: vasta or vihta; Estonian: viht); Lithuanian: vanta) is a besom, or broom, used for bathing in saunas, such as Russian banyas.[1]
