Parami Wasanthi Maristela is a junior athlete representing Sri Lanka at international level in the 2000 metre Steeplechase event. She won the Bronze medal, recording a time of 6 minutes 33.06 seconds in the Youth Olympics held in 2018.[1]She is the first female youth athlete to win a medal at this level for Sri Lanka.[2] She was also won a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Junior Athletics Championships held in Gifu Japan with New Junior record.[3]
