The station would be the northernmost of the extension. It would be the twenty-second station from the northern terminus at Common Station. It would be built in Baclaran, Parañaque and would be named after Redemptorist Road. The station will serve the western portion of Baclaran Church, a walking distance on DFA Office of Consular affair along Bradco Avenue, Aseana City and Singapore School of Manila.
The LRT Line 1 plan calls for a mostly elevated extension of approximately 11.7 kilometers (7.3 mi). The extension will have 8 passenger stations with an option for 2 future stations (Manuyo Uno and Talaba).[2]
As of December 31, 2020, the project is 50.61% complete. Partial operation of the project will be in the end of 2021 and full operation will be in first quarter of 2024.
