Lynne Walz is an American politician. She currently serves in the Nebraska Legislature, representing a district centered around Fremont. She is a member of the Democratic Party.

Walz was first elected to the state legislature in 2016, defeating incumbent David Schnoor with 51% of the vote. She was chosen as the running mate of fellow State Senator Bob Krist in his 2018 campaign for Governor.[1] The Krist-Walz ticket lost the election.[2]

Walz was reelected in 2020 with nearly 60% of the vote.[3]
