Nora Clearman England (born November 8, 1946) is an American linguist, Mayanist, and Dallas TACA Centennial Professor at University of Texas at Austin.

England graduated from the University of Florida with a Ph.D. She taught at the University of Iowa. She led a workshop, and field visit to Iximche, attended by Linda Schele and Nicholai Grube. She is founding director of the Center for Indigenous Languages of Latin America (CILLA).

Her research is on the grammar of Mayan languages and contemporary Mayan language politics.
