A Simple Wedding is a 2018 American romantic comedy film directed by Sara Zandieh and starring Tara Grammy, Christopher O'Shea, Rita Wilson, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Maz Jobrani and Houshang Touzie.[1] Wilson also served as an executive producer of the film.[2]

Cast

Release

The film premiered at the LA Film Festival in September 2018.[3] In February 2019, it was announced that Blue Fox Entertainment acquired worldwide distribution rights to the film.[4] The film was released in theaters in February 14, 2020.[2] Then it was released on DVD in June 9, 2020.[5]

Reception

The film has an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.[6] Jordaine Givens of Film Threat awarded the film an 8 out of 10.[7] Tara McNamara of Common Sense Media gave the film four stars out of five.[8]
