Chaubey

Chaubey are not brahmins but a 2nd version of chaturvedi who are the actual pure clan. "Chaturvedi" is a surname of Brahmins in India which means "Knower of the Four Vedas". Chaubey or Choubey claim to be chaturvedis but they were hired by chaturvedis to do daily chores at their home and farms and later got mixed though chaturvedis or dwivedis don't marry chaubeys or dwivedis and consider them lesser due to mixed breed.
