William Henry Mercer (1888 – 5 June 1956) was an English professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper in the Football League for Hull City, Huddersfield Town and Blackpool.[1][3]

Personal life

Mercer's brother Peter was 1947 National Bowls champion.[4]
