Eric Daian Remedi (born 4 June 1995) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Atlanta United.[1]
Career
Remedi's career started in 2015 with Argentine Primera División side Banfield, with his first appearance for the club coming on 6 June versus Sarmiento.[1][3] On 24 August 2016, Remedi made his Copa Sudamericana debut against San Lorenzo.[1] In June 2018, following sixty-five senior appearances for Banfield, Remedi left the club to join Atlanta United of Major League Soccer.[4] He made his debut on 21 July during a home victory against D.C. United.[1] Remedi scored his first senior goal on 4 November, netting for Atlanta during a win over New York City in the MLS Cup Playoffs; which they'd win.[1] His next goal came in a 2019 cup semi-final over Orlando City.[1]
Remedi won the U.S. Open Cup with Atlanta, playing the full duration of the 2019 final versus Minnesota United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on 27 August.[1][5]
