Notes

  1. ^ Hans Ochssenfart.
  2. ^ Catholic Encyclopedia[1]:Among the many scholars of the town who energetically opposed the new movement by word and writing, particular mention must be made of the Dominican Petrus Sylvius, Professor Dungersheim of the university, the Franciscan Augustin Alfeld, Hieronymus Emser, and later Cochlæus.
