Chemical structure of a simple acroleinide

In organic chemistry, acroleinide is a functional group which is composed of a cyclic ketal of a diol with acrolein.[1] In pharmaceutical chemistry, it is present in acrocinonide (triamcinolone acroleinide).[1]
