PurposeProtect, formerly Public Concern at Work, changed its name in September 2018 to better reflect the work it does supporting whistleblowers and organisations. Protect seeks to promote the public interest by ensuring concerns about wrongdoing, risk, and malpractice are properly raised and addressed in the workplace. Protect also campaigns for legal reform.

Protect formerly Public Concern at Work (PCaW) is a whistleblowing charity operating in the United Kingdom. Established in 1993, Public Concern at Work advises individuals with whistleblowing dilemmas at work, supports organisations with their whistleblowing arrangements and informs public policy and seeks legislative change.[1]

In 2013, the organisation celebrated its 20th anniversary.
