Mirrorcat was a 1960s[1] 40 ft (12 m)[1] ocean-going catamaran[1] sailboat[1] designed by Rod Macalpine-Downie.[1] The vessel took part in the 1967 Crystal Trophy race in the English Channel,[1] and the first Round Britain and Ireland Race.[2] At the time, it was considered one of the fastest ocean-going multihulls in the world.[1]
