The 1989–90 Gold Cup was the 71st edition of the Gold Cup, a cup competition in Northern Irish football.[1]

The tournament was won by Linfield for the 32nd time and 3rd consecutive season, defeating Portadown 2–0 in the final replay at The Oval[2] after the original final ended 0-0.[3]
