Gold medal – first place 1971 Vandans Men's doubles

Josef Niedermair[1] was an Italian luger who competed in the early 1970s. A natural track luger, he won a gold medal in the men's doubles event at the 1971 FIL European Luge Natural Track Championships in Vandans, Austria.[2] In 1970, he also won a bronze medal in the men's singles event at the 4th European Cup in Inzing, Austria.[1]
