AS Awa is a Cameroonian women's football club competing in the Cameroonian Women's Championship. The club is based in the city of Yaoundé.

History

AS Awa was founded in 2014 by Thomas Awa. The club was promoted to the top division of Cameroonian women's football in 2017 and won its first Cameroon championship title in 2018.[1] In fierce competition with the country's two main clubs, Louves Minproff and Amazones FAP, both supported by government structures, AS Awa regained its title in 2021 and consequently qualified for the 2022 CAF Women's Champions League.[2]
