Ivan Demidov (born 10 December 2005) is a Russian professional ice hockey winger currently under contract with SKA Saint Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).[1] Demidov is considered the top-ranked Russian prospect in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.[2]

Playing career

In the Youth Hockey League (MHL), Demidov scored over 1.4 points per game and lead the league in scoring.[3] He made his KHL debut with SKA Saint Petersburg in 2022 at the age of 16.[4] Demidov won a gold medal with Team Russia at the 2021 Hlinka Gretzky Cup scoring five points in five games.[5]
