Andy Rihs (2 November 1942 in Stuttgart – 18 April 2018 in Zürich) was a Swiss businessperson.

Biography

Andy Rihs, born in 1942 in Stuttgart, Germany, took over a Swiss hearing aid company, Phonak, in 1966 with a partner and his brother.[1][2]

Rihs owned the BMC Racing cycling team and the Young Boys soccer club.[3][4] In 2011, BMC Racing won the Tour de France with cyclist Cadel Evans.[3] Previously, in 2006, Rihs' Phonak cycling team disbanded after cyclist Floyd Landis was stripped of his tour title.[3]
