Youn Czekanowicz

Youn Czekanowicz (born 8 August 2000) is a Luxembourgian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for FC Swift Hesperange.

Personal life

Czekanowicz is the son of Luxembourgian footballer Mike Czekanowicz.[1] He is of Polish descent.[2]

Career

Czekanowicz joined the youth academy of German side Alemannia Aachen at the age of twelve.[3]

Czekanowicz started his senior career with Luxembourgian side FC Progrès Niederkorn.[4][5] After that, he was sent on loan to Luxembourgian side FC UNA Strassen.[6] In 2021, he signed for Luxembourgian side FC Swift Hesperange.[7]

Style of play

Czekanowicz has been described as "very comfortable with both feet".[8]
