"Standing Next to You" is an upcoming song by South Korean singer Jungkook of BTS. It is set to be released on November 3, 2023, as the focus track of his debut studio album Golden.

Background and release

On October 15, 2023, "Standing Next to You" was revealed as the fourth track on Jungkook's upcoming debut album Golden as well as the "focus track" or "main track" of said album,[1] according to an announcement by Big Hit.[2] The song marks the second collaboration between Jungkook and American singer-songwriter Andrew Watt and Canadian record producer Cirkut, following "Seven" earlier that year.[3] An official announcement poster for the single, including the exact time of release, were revealed a day later.[4] The poster depicts the singer dressed in a black blazer and a chain leaning against a grey backdrop.[5] The single cover consisting of simple red, blue and grey letters against a black background was revealed through streaming services later that day.[6]
