The Hellenic Initiative (THI) is a humanitarian aid and economic development nonprofit organization that was established in 2012 to provide aid and development in Greece.[1] THI provides crisis relief and economic development through programs in Greece.[2][3] Mobilizing the Greek Diaspora and Philhellene community to support sustainable economic recovery and renewal for Greece and its people, THI is a Greek Diaspora effort to create jobs in Greece.[4]
THI’s endeavors proceed on three tracks. Crisis relief by supporting non-profit organizations that are providing a safety net to families. Development financing for business and civic leaders to develop viable businesses and social ventures.[5] Economic development for the Greek economy.
