Assistance Dogs International is a global network of non-profit organizations that support assistance dog users and their dogs. It was founded in 1986 when seven organizations merged. Member organizations include Pacific Assistance Dog Society[1] and Paws with a Cause[2] The member organizations must meet criteria for training and placing dogs.[3]
