Pongon

Pongon is located along at the Maharlika Highway on Leyte Island, Philippines, on the territory of Javier. It has plains between the mountainous border region. It has an elevation of 10 feet above sea level.

History

This barrio was included in the creation of Bugho as town during the early 1960s pursuant to RA 3422 - An Act Creating the Municipality of Bugho as an independent municipality in the Province of Leyte, enacted on June 18, 1961.
