In 1968, he married Sarah Anne Colville. The couple lived at Bembridge. Lady Pigot was appointed an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List, June 2015, for her charitable work with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution on the Isle of Wight.[2]
