Wierzbięcin [vjɛʐˈbjɛnt͡ɕin] (formerly German Kochsdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Trzebiel, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south of Trzebiel, 23 km (14 mi) south-west of Żary, and 64 km (40 mi) south-west of Zielona Góra.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany.
