The Vietnam Era Museum & Educational Center is located in Holmdel Township, New Jersey, United States. The Vietnam Era Museum & Educational Center opened in 1998 and is located adjacent to the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which was constructed in 1995. The 5,000-square-foot (460 m2) facility had a construction budget of $3.5 million; it was intended to provide a balanced view of the controversial war. When opened it was the only museum of its kind in the United States.[1][2]
