Mount Stearns (78°19′S 162°49′E / 78.317°S 162.817°E / -78.317; 162.817) is a mountain rising to 2,670 metres (8,760 ft) named after Charles R. Stearns, Dept. of Meteorology, University of Wisconsin; he designed and positioned automatic weather stations. It stands 1.3 nautical miles (2.4 km) east of Mount Kempe, on the divide between the head of Kempe Glacier and Renegar Glacier in Royal Society Range, Victoria Land.
