Sowliny [sɔˈvlinɨ] was an independent village in Poland.

Description

Sowliny is now part of the city of Limanowa. There however remains a village under this name in the surrounding area. Places close to Sowliny include Lipowe (1.2 km), Łososina Górna (1.2 km), Młynne (1.9 km), Limanowa (3.9 km), Koszary (3.0 km), Makowica (3.9 km), Laskowa (4.4 km), Pasierbiec (4.4 km), Stara Wieś (5.7 km), Mordarka (4.0 km), and Laskowa Górna (6.1 km).[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Limanowa and 51 km (32 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kraków.
