Tokelau, Tuvalu is a village on the island of Nanumanga, Tuvalu.

Population

Tokelau's population is 281. It is the smaller of Nanumanga's two villages.

Linguistic background

For disambiguation purposes, it may be noted that "Tokelau" is also the name of a neighbouring territory administered by New Zealand, with its own language.

Tokelauan-speakers and Tuvaluan-speakers share linguistic intelligibility. Hence also the occurrence of the identical place name.
