Hot Spot is about a battle sometime in the future.[1]

Reception

Steve Jackson reviewed Hot Spot in The Space Gamer No. 29.[1] Jackson commented that "On the whole, it's a good game - easily the best Microgame to appear recently. If you like SF tactical games, buy it."[1]
