Czekanów [t͡ʂɛˈkanuf] (German: Schakanau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zbrosławice, within Tarnowskie Góry County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south of Zbrosławice, 15 km (9 mi) south-west of Tarnowskie Góry, and 22 km (14 mi) north-west of the regional capital Katowice.

The village has a population of 1,000.
