East of Pas-de-Calais (Béthune, Lens, Hénin-Beaumont)

The Canton of Vimy was a canton in northern France, in the Pas-de-Calais département. It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Population: 21 607 (1999).

Administration

Vimy belongs to the communauté d'agglomération of Lens-Liévin (Communaupole) which gathers 36 communes, with a total population of 250,000 inhabitants.
