FC New Orleans is an American professional soccer academy, based in New Orleans, Louisiana. FC New Orleans (FC NOLA) main focus is youth player development. It provides non-competitive soccer training to youth ages 4 to 9 years old, competitive training and competition ages 8 to 19 years old and has recreational and semi professional adult soccer.

The academy team was a provisional member of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) in 2012. They also competed in the 2014 LSA Adult State Cup.[1]

History

FC New Orleans was established in June 2010 to provide accessibility to quality soccer training for urban youth living in the Gentilly, Eastern New Orleans and St. Bernard Parish areas of the Greater New Orleans Metro Area. It has since evolved into a club structure that mirrors what you find throughout the world to include beginner training for youths as young as 4 years old to Adults recreational and Semi-Professional competition.

On June 13, 2012, the NPSL accepted FC New Orleans as an expansion club for their 2012 season. However, the club was made a provisional member after registering past the league deadline for the 2012 season.[2] FC New Orleans played one season and finished with a 2-0-1 record.

In 2014, FC New Orleans established relationships with European professional teams and scouts that represent access to over 200 clubs in order to place not only soccer players but basketball players as well.
