Scaeostrepta is a genus of moth in the family Lecithoceridae. It contains the species Scaeostrepta geranoptera, which is found in New Guinea.[1]
The wingspan is about 19 mm. The forewings are dark purple-fuscous and the hindwings are prismatic-whitish with a broad dark bronzy-fuscous band extending from the base along the dorsum and termen to the apex, rather lighter posteriorly.[2]
