Moravské zemské muzeum in Brno

Moravské zemské muzeum (Moravian Museum in English) is the second largest and the second oldest museum in the Czech Republic.

The museum was founded in July 1817 in Brno. Its collections include over 6 million objects from many fields of science and culture.

Exhibitions

The museum has several exhibition places:

  • Dietrichstein Palace - seat of the museum,
  • Episcopal Palace of Brno,
  • Palác šlechtičen,
  • Pavilion Anthropos,
  • Leoš Janáček memorial.
