Author Charley Valera's first published book.

Charley Valera (born 22 October 1957) is an American author. He chronicles World War II stories as told first-hand by the soldiers, sailors and airmen that participated. His first book was "My Father's War: Memories from Our Honored WWII Soldiers"[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13] . He is a pilot[14] and aviation enthusiast[15] has been invited to speak on topics of his book [16] and aviation. Valera is also an affiliate Gulf Coast Writers Association in Southwest Florida.

He hosts a TV mini-series program that discusses WWII veterans life stories.[17]

The 80 minute documentary has earned the prestigious Accolade Global Film Competition Award for November 2018.
