William John Fergusson was an Australian politician.

He was a solicitor before entering politics. In 1880 he was elected to the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for Glen Innes, serving until his defeat in 1887. Almost nothing is known of his biography, although he was believed to have died in New Zealand.[1]
