Jim Beirne (born October 15, 1946) is a former wide receiver who played collegiately at Purdue University, where he was an All-American, and professionally for the Houston Oilers of the American Football League, and the NFL's Oilers and San Diego Chargers.

Jim Beirne currently (2018) lives in Fredericksburg, Texas.

His son, Kevin Beirne, was a Major League Baseball right-handed pitcher from 2000-2006.
