Álvaro Gaona Vega (born June 15, 1985, in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer in the Middleweight division and is the current WBC FECARBOX Middleweight Champion.

Pro career

On February 6, 2010, Gaona beat Gilberto Flores Hernandez[1] by a 12-round unanimous decision, to win the WBC FECARBOX Middleweight Championship. The bout was held in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.[2]
