Youssef Abdelke (Arabic يوسف عبدلكي) is one of Syria’s leading artists,[1] and the husband of Syrian fim-maker Hala Al-Abdallah Yacoub. On July 19, 2013, the Syrian government forces arrested Yousef Ebdalki after he signed a declaration calling for the departure of President Bashar al-Assad. [2][3][4]
