The Copa EuroAmericana was a friendly football exhibition tournament created by DirecTV that took place in the Americas. Some clubs from CONCACAF, CONMEBOL and UEFA were invited to participate in it.[1][2] Since 2014, matches corresponding to Spanish teams also served as the LFP World Challenge.[3]
Format
Each match is played over 90 minutes. In case of a tie after the 90 minutes, it will proceed to play two 15-minute overtime periods, and if they continue in a draw, the champion will be defined through penalty kicks. The confederation of the winner team of each match is awarded with a point, and the confederation with most points is declared champion.
