Makhdoom Syed Murtaza Mehmood is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018. Previously he was a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, from May 2013 to May 2018.

Early life and education

He was born on 19 April 1985.[1]

He has the degree of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics.[1]

Political career

He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) from Constituency PP-295 (Rahimyar Khan-XI) in 2013 Pakistani general election.[2][3]

He was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of PPP from Constituency NA-180 (Rahim Yar Khan-VI) in 2018 Pakistani general election.[4]
