Melky will even do some "scatting" on one of the songs. "I compare it to yodeling," she says. The duo says its album doesn't fit any one format, and it will include ballads with a '50s and '60s feel. Melky says she and her siblings come from a musical background. Their lives, she adds, were strictly about going to school and to church.
